The TradeWind Freedom II Series Transfer Bathing System is specifically designed for bathers who are mobility challenged, but is suitable for virtually every bather. The large, wide, outward opening door allows for easy transfer of the bather from a wheelchair, or other mobility device. If the need arises that a lift device is to be used, the lower panel is removable for the lift legs to slide under the unit for a smooth lift transfer. Either way, the Freedom II system is the perfect bathing system for the Special Needs Bather.
The unit is designed as a Free Standing Appliance complete with two end panels shown below. The 60" x 32" dimensions will fit most standard bathtub spaces. (Due to the wide opening door, make sure that there is ample space for the door to swing open unobstructed)
The Freedom II is available as a basic Soaker, Hydro-Massage Whirlpool, Thermal-Air Massage, and a combination unit utilizing both systems. Our standard features are considered luxury add-ons with most of our competitors. TradeWind Freedom - You won't be disappointed!

External Locking Mechanism
For assited bathing, there is a safety lock mechanism that securely locks the door in place to prevent premature opening. Simply flip the latch, and the door is secure.
Removable Lift Panel
In the event a chair lift or sling lift is utilized to position the bather, the lower panel of the unit is removable. The legs of the lift assembly will roll under the unit, allowing for a stable transfer of the bather to the seat. (Chair lifts or sling lifts are not supplied by TradeWind and are to be used at the discretion of the end user)
End Panels 
The Freedom II Transfer unit is designed as a free standing bathing system. The bath comes from the factory with end panels installed on each end. It can be installed as a built-in, utilizing conventional bath location, in which case, both end panels can be removed for easier installation.

Thermostatic Faucet
Hansgrohe Thermostatic (Anti-Scald) Faucet with RainDance handheld shower is ergonomically designed with a lever handle and thermostatic control for optimum safety. The faucet handle operates the diverter/flow control cartridge to deliver precise tempered water. Available in Polished Chrome only.
Cable Drive Drain
Geberit Cable Drive Waste & Overflow with the ADA handle allows for quick draining of the tub with the flip of the lever. Available in Polished Chrome only.
Standard waste and overflow consists of a hopsital stopper drain with stainless steel pull chain.
The "Ozonator"
Using the latest in Ozone Technology, the "Ozonator" continuously cleans and disinfects the water as it recirculates throught the system, providing you with clean, fresh water as you enjoy your time in your TradeWind whirlpool tub.

Aromatherapy
Enhance your bathing experience with the fantastic Aromatherapy package. Simply insert one of four available fragrance packs into the aroma canister and your Thermal-Air Massage System does the rest. Aromatic bubbles will surround you and wash your cares away.

Chromotherapy
Choose a color that suits your mood. Soothing colors, like soothing aromas, add a sensual dimension to your bathing experience. Choose from six relaxing shades and enjoy!
